Aluuka does not claim ownership of the Personal Information provided to it in the use of the Service. Personal Information is collected via the intake forms all users complete on our web applications as well as any medical data of your loved ones that the user authorizes Aluuka to request and retrieve from health institutions.

- To respond to your inquiries, complaints or requests;

- Such purposes for which Aluuka may obtain consent from time to time; and
- Such other uses as may be permitted or required by applicable law.
To whom do we provide your Personal Information?
Generally, we will only make disclosures of Personal Information to such persons for which you provide your consent. Notwithstanding the foregoing:
We may transfer your Personal Information to third party service providers with whom we have a contractual agreement that includes appropriate privacy standards, where such third parties are assisting us with the Purposes – such as, Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacists, Laboratory Technicians and service providers that provide telephone support or data storage or processing.

How do we ensure the privacy of your Personal Information when dealing with our affiliates and other third parties?
We ensure that all affiliates and other third parties that are engaged to perform services on our behalf and are provided with Personal Information are contractually required to observe the intent of this Privacy Statement and our privacy practices.
The Service relies on explicit user consent to collect loved ones information living abroad, on behalf of the user. This is done by collecting personal information, legal authorization, and identity verification and matching it with the applicable information on source databases. Users have the ability to revoke consent at any time by emailing us.

Aluuka will retain Personal Information in its primary database until such a time as the user to whom it pertains ceases to be a Aluuka user, or until they request the data be deleted. Any identity documents photo ID used to authenticate users on our platform will be destroyed immediately after verification.
